Recently, a wind storm came into my path, and blew me off course. It was quite mild at first, but then it built up momentum and started to affect my balance. Ugly pictures appeared before my eyes, and I couldn’t focus properly. The worst part was the constant conversation in my head imagining the worst case scenario, to do with my health. I felt like I was dying even though I had no out ward symptoms, and my world was clouded with fear of the unknown.
The worst part was the sense of darkness that affected my mood, and my joy in life, then the stabs of pain in my heart as I woke in the morning.

The storm was short lived, but whilst it raged around me, I was determined to learn wisdom in mastering the negative feelings of fear and torment, that took away my joy. We were never designed to live in fear and in the dark, and I knew that, but as many of you would know it is not normally one thing that blows you off course, its usually a build up of things that torment the mind.

The truth is no matter what you are going through, or how big the hurt is, there is a hiding place where you can face the storms that threaten your safety. This place is a place of healing, a place of warmth and light. It breaks the chains that hold you captive to fear, and releases joy and a beautiful sense of peace. God lives in the light and in him there is no darkness at all. He has given his people who choose to trust him very precious promises, and none of those promises disappoint because God is a God of all truth, and he is not like man who will lie to save face.images

What a beautiful dwelling where God lives, and he invites all of us to join him, and delight in his presence. If he walks in the light, we can too, and although we will face storms that bring fear, we don’t have to allow fear to cripple us and plunge us into darkness. God will always use bad things, to make our lives better, enable us to learn his truth, and discard negative unproductive things.

Some of us could use a loving hug right about now, God is able to wrap his arms around you, so that you understand how much value he places upon your life. He is a healing God, and he longs for all of us to simply come to him and lay down those troubles that weigh you down. I am not suggesting you take on a religion, I have had my fill of that way. No I have discovered that God wants a relationship with us, and he has much to say to each of us if we will allow him first place in our hearts.
God’s great desire is that all people would know him, for that reason he sent Jesus into the world to free us from sin and death, and transform and renew our minds to the truth of his word.
In Psalm 91 verse 14 in the message Bible it says” If you will hold onto me for dear life says God “I’ll get you out of trouble, I’ll give you the best of care If you will only get to know and trust me. Call me and I’ll answer, be at your side in bad times. I’ll rescue you, then throw you a party. I’ll give you a long life, give you a long drink of my salvation.

It would be great to meet some of you that read my blog. We are all travelling together on a journey to reach home. If I pass you by say hello, and who knows a friendship may come about. God Bless and stay safe from Carol Christopher.

  1. Needed to send you a very small word to help say thanks as before with the fantastic advice you have documented here. This is simply wonderfully open-handed with people like you to provide openly what exactly many people could possibly have sold as an e-book to get some bucks on their own, most notably considering that you might have done it if you ever desired. The solutions likewise acted as the easy way to realize that some people have similar eagerness like my very own to see a great deal more in regard to this issue. I’m certain there are many more pleasurable periods in the future for individuals that look over your website.
